Ferencvaros to face KÍ Klaksvík in UEFA Champions League First qualifying round

Ferencvaros will play an away match of the First qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League against KÍ Klaksvík on Tuesday, the 11h of July. The match will take place at Við Djúpumýrar stadium in Klaksvík. Kick-off is at 20:45 CET. 
 
Klaksvíkar Ítróttarfelag ("Klaksvík Sports Club") was founded in 1904 and is one of the most successful Faroese football clubs, having won the Faroe Islands Premier League 20 times and the Faroe Islands Cup 6 times. In 1992, KÍ Klaksvík participated for the first time on a European stage,[3] competing in the Champions League preliminary round against Skonto Riga of Latvia, where they lost 6–1 on aggregate.
KÍ Klaksvík are currently on top of the Faroe Islands Premier League, having won all 16 matches of the season (48 points after 16 matches). In the last match of the season, Klaksvik have beaten HB 2-0.
 
Ferencvaros coach Stanislav Cherchesov have already played a match in the Faroese back in 1995 - as the Russia national football team goalkeeper in Euro'96 qualification match. Russia won the match 5-2 although the Faroese side were leading 2-1 by the 55th minute.
